I had severe sciatica in my left leg for over 8 weeks . I tried exercises, and a physical therapy. Nothing worked . I started coming to see Dr. J in early August because I was in constant pain and barely functioning. I would give ten stars if I could! Dr. J literally saved my life. I was barely able to walk in for my first visit, Dr J put together a treatment plan and started right away. I’m visiting a friend from out of town and, unfortunately, threw out my back just before flying out. After a quick Google search for nearby chiropractors, I found Modern Chiropractic. To my delight and relief, they were able to get me in right away. The service was impeccable from scheduling through treatment. The out of pocket walk-in cost was reasonable. I must start by saying I was not a believer, but Dr. J turned me around. He does much more than just adjustments! I love Modern Chiropractic!I belong to their "Chiro Club".I have been going once a week for the past 1 1/2 yrs. I had excruciating pain from displaced ribs due to being "top heavy". The improvement I have had is incredible. Most people don't realize how out of alignment they are and think living in pain is normal. It's not and you CAN get better! This is a great opportunity to get rid of knee pain! I was extremely impressed by the results from day 1. One trial treatment, free btw, just to see how it can help me. Bingo! No more pain the next day and I can walk properly putting pressure on my hole foot. Awesome! I highly recommend it.

Modern Chiropractic has amazing staff who genuinely care about pain management. Dr. Johnstone has treated my carpal tunnel and other muskeletol issues with enthusiasm and compassion; he prevented my pain from getting worse and I avoided surgery. I was having severe neck pains and was unable to turn my head prior to a ski trip. Dr. J was able to pinpoint the problem quickly and provide relief on the first visit. They have a lot technology I haven't seen at other offices and easy explained what was needed. The instant relief was incredible. Highly recommend this practice.

I was suffering from severe neck and shoulder pain. Called to make an appointment as a new patient. I was able to get in to meet Dr J. the next afternoon. The relief he was able to offer me on the initial visit is incredible. I had minimal to non-existing pain after treatment. I still had some stiffness in the neck and shoulders as expected. The most amazing part of the visit, is the release of the pain and stiffness in my lower back that I have suffered with for many years. My follow up appointment has yielded yet another great treatment. I am grateful for the services that Dr J. has provided and will continue with them. I highly recommend making an appointment for the chiropractic care and pain relief. It has done wonders for me.

After a year or more of undiagnosed chronic pain in my buttock I sought help from Modern chiropractic. Within minutes of meeting Dr Derek Johnstone he had pinpointed my exact problem. I was specifically interested in deep tissue laser treatments. I was unable to sit or drive for more than 15 minutes without pain. I walked with a limp and pain in my leg. I couldn’t sleep on my side. Dr J used the laser, the Hypervolt and spinal manipulation with deep massage over the course of my treatments. I’m happy to report I am virtually pain free. I’m walking normal and sleeping well. I can sit without pain. He’s a miracle worker and I highly recommend this practice. I am extremely happy with the care and results I received here at modern chiropractic. I am 19 years old, and came to Dr. Ferris with two bulging discs, and a bad pelvic tilt that was complicating my treatment. I had been through the whole cycle of PT, medication, steroid injections, and more with minimal to no improvement. I was with back pain for a little over 12 months before I came across this place. They looked at my case a lot differently than any other doctor I had gone to. They determined an exact plan of what I had to do in order to fix my problem, and after many treatments, and a lot of at-home stretching, I am now able to get back to my normal life pain free. I definitely recommend Dr. Ferris to anyone experiencing bad back pain, I am so happy with their thorough care and that they have a friendly environment as well.

I pinched a nerve in my neck. I was in extreme pain and desperate for help. My doctor couldn’t see me and I considered going to the emergency room, but thought I’d try a chiropractor. So I called Modern Chiropractic in Victor. They got me in immediately and treated me the same day. They also worked with my orthopedic surgeon at Strong Orthopedics. I had my MRI sent directly to Modern Chiropractic and together my care team completely solved my pain within weeks. NO SURGERY, and pain free! I highly recommend calling them if you need pain relief and a Chiropractor that pays attention. Great people!

I currently work as a nurse on a very heavy floor. There’s a lot of turning and cleaning up patients leaving me with a lot of back pain. I suffered for months but recently the last 2 weeks it began to become unbearable. I thought this was going to be a forever thing for me and was worried about treatment. I finally decided to try this place as I drove by and not only were they able to get me in, but they allowed me to bring my children! I didn’t have a sitter so last minute but they understood my pain and got me in. I joined chiro club and couldn’t have made a better choice. My life is changed! I no longer have back pain constantly, in fact the back pain is so rare I forget that I even had back pain to begin with. This was in just a few visits I felt this way and the recommendations for home have helped me no longer fear going to work, long car rides, or every day activity. I finally have my life back thanks to the amazing staff here. If you’re worried about going like I was, take the risk and you will not regret it! The gentle approach has made me no longer fear chiropractors, in fact, I look forward to my appointments now!

First time seeing a chiropractor after dealing with ongoing neck & back issues for the past 35 years. I was nervous about the process but after speaking with Dr. Johnstone, he put me at ease to try an adjustment. While the adjustment was audibly loud and quite startling to myself, it did not hurt at all. I was immediately able to move my neck freely without discomfort for the first time in decades. The adjustment to my back was equally rewarding. If anyone is considering chiropractic care but apprehensive about going based on some of the "violent" YouTube videos, you should really consider sitting down with either Dr. Johnstone or Dr. Ferris. They are both very easy to talk to and will answer all of the questions you may have. Wish I had visited them years ago!

I’ve been going to Modern Chiropractic for the past few weeks and I’ve been very impressed with what I’ve experienced so far. Compared to other chiropractors in the area, Modern Chiropractic is a whole different level of care. I’ve been to other offices that are tucked away in old buildings with a single bed/bench. But when you step the MC office, you are immediately greeted by state of the art, modern, and clean equipment/decor. The doctors are friendly and engaging and take time to get to know you personally so that they can give you the most personalize care. I came in with limited range of motion and left feeling like a new person! Highly recommend!

I have needed a knee replacement for a year or so but due to Covid I had to find a way to ease the pain in my knee as I could hardly walk and I came here to Modern chiropractic and had the knee trac and laser therapy done to my knee and after about 6 weeks I was able to walk with little to no pain and I recommend the doctors at Modern Chiropractic come and talk with them I think they will be able to help like they did me I don't plan on having my knee replaced anytime soon

I’m 20, have experienced back pain for the last couple years just from over use and golfing everyday. Dr Johnstone and Dr Ferris are not only incredibly kind and genuine, but really know what they’re doing. I have experienced relief every time I go, the adjustments are phenomenal, and last time I tried the laser therapy which was by far the most beneficial. I highly recommend going to Modern Chiropractic if you have any back pain, you would be surprised how much it really helps. Also....sit in the massage chair for as long as you can, you won’t want to get up ever.
